I returned from a trip to Texas this week. I’ve been several times in my life but I always marvel at how different parts of our country are from one another. From the size of the beverages to the size of the trucks, everything there seemed to scream SUPERSIZED. It led me to coin the phrase “Tex-cess” to describe the sheer volume of things.
I know my humble beginnings in a row home in Philly leave my southern brethren scratching their big Texas hair. One friend even remarked that “his horses lived in bigger stalls” than my first apartment.
It’s all relative, I suppose. Viva la difference, Y’all.
Tex-cess. Love it!
